Blue Book Updates The President of each unit or someone he or she appoints can bring their Blue Book to the Region Rally to check for completeness. Sometimes when books are passed from Unit Officer to Unit Officer they are not always up to date. Here is your opportunity to check out your book. One Book per Unit, please. Preemie Blanket Margaret Natof has again agreed to host an all day sewing event. Bring you sewing machine and stay for a couple of hours or the whole day. If you would like to help and don’t sew there are jobs you can also do. Anonymous The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing in the right place, but to leave unsaid the wrong thing at a tempting moment. |

Region Rally We would like a non perishable food
item brought to the Saturday night dinner at the Region Rally in Bloomsburg.
These items will be donated to a local food bank. Let’s see how many boxes
we can fill.
Today’s Chuckle Expert: someone who knows all the
answers, but only to his own questions.
Leadership is Cooperation Leadership, though difficult to define,
is vital to the health and success of any organization. There is no more
important role in WBCCI than the Unit President. The influence of the Unit
President is vital to our success. Working together we can accomplish much
more than we can working alone. John Quincy Adams said "if actions inspire
others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
9Nine Ways to Kill an Organization 1. Don’t attend the meetings. 2. If you do attend, go late. 3. Find fault with the officers. 4. Never accept an office or an assignment. 5. Nevertheless, feel hurt if you are not asked toaccept an office. 6. Do nothing more than is absolutely necessary. Then if you see other members working together, gripe that the club is run by a clique. 7. Hold back on your dues, or threaten not to pay because things aren’t going your way. 8. Don’t bother about getting new members. Let someone else do it. 9. If you are asked to express an
opinion, remember others also have an opinion and it might not agree with
yours.

in anything unless it’s none of their business

The Region 2 Luncheon at Perry Georgia

sale at Bloomsburg and during registration in Perry. To see Don McKelvay
roasted by Phil Pons you must attend the Luncheon.
See You Down The Road Lesley and I want to thank all of you who supported us the last 6 years. We especially want to thank all our Region 2 Officers who worked very closely with us, Don and Kathy McKelvay, Phil and Dianne Pons, Treasurer Bill Kent and Laurraine, Recording Secretary Louis Powala and Virgil, Parliamentarian Wilson Yerk and Cindy, Family and Youth Linda Amme and Ron, Historian Claire Connelly and Clyde Warden, Teen Queen Chairman Cori Myers and Dave, Community Service Chairman Don Weaver and Joan. After all the shouting we want to be able to keep our heads held high by not saying or doing anything that could cause hurt to any of our WBCCI members.
